Our late Roman equipment. I think that now in our club has equipment on a sufficient level for the period 4/7 century AD.

One of the most beautiful and significant images of a late Roman shield with Providencia symbol is from a San Vitale Mosaic from Ravenna-6th century A.D. Labarum is a popular symbol depicted on ancient monuments.

We decide our shields to be 2 different models. Round one is from Notitia Dignitatum. Until now I did not seen a reconstruction of this model of IIII SCYTHICA from Notitia Dignitatum. Or I'm not familiar with a similar publication. This is another resurgence of late Roman shield under this ancient document.
